Prime Rib Roast: Easy How To

Something about a home cooked prime rib roast on a Saturday night that gets to me.  It warms my heart because I know it is something we do not do often.  Well, only when I find a killer sale and buy a bunch to freeze. Making gravy volcanoes in our mashed potatoes, this home cooked meal will sure to please every member of your family.

Prep Time: 5 10 Minutes Cook Time: 45-60 minutes Oven Temperature: 375 degrees F Ingredients:  - Prime Rib Roast - Salt & Pepper

- Oil Olive - Italian Seasoning - Vegetables of choice Instructions: Make The Bed: In a ceramic or glass casserole dish chop up your vegetables in thick chunks to create a bed for the roast to sit on.  You can use whatever is on hand.  I used, potatoes, onions, zucchini, carrots, and celery this time.  Drizzle olive oil over vegetables and season with Italian seasonings. When the roast cooks its juices run through the vegetable melody and creates even more flavor.  Sear The Roast:  In a frying pan, generously coat with olive oil and heat on medium/high heat.  Season the roast with salt, pepper, and steak spice (I used Montreal Streak Spice).  Once oil is heated, sear the roast on each side for about 1 minute each side.  This is to seal in the flavor.  So the juices do not run right out of the roast and lock inside.  Creating a juicy flavorful Prime rib roast beef.  Sides Suggestions:  Mashed Potatoes, Corn.
