I hesitate to begin even writing this blog post because I know the flood of emotions that I am about to feel. Our son is turning the age of two. With a blink of an eye, he has turned into this walking talking two year old. From our wild first year of firsts, to his second full of character. He is the happiest guy around and full of personality. Smiling and waving at strangers in the grocery store, or bringing a toy to another child because he wants to play with someone. This little guy is all mine; A social butterfly. Someone that I am so proud to be around. The amount of learning milestones this guy has had in the last 6 months is unreal. He is a little sponge soaking up the world around him, and I want to show him everything I can and have to offer. Colours, shapes, numbers and the new rage..... letters. The mushy feeling of jello in between his fingers, and the rough feeling of sand. How light objects roll slower then heavy ones. Everything fascinates him, and I get to watch him discover it all. He is someone who rocked my whole world the second he appeared and can't thank enough, for this life. He taught me how to be more patient. Don't get me wrong, we have had many moments of trails and tribulations. As hard as being a stay at home mom is, being there to watch every new milestone and every new discovery is worth it time and time, over and over again.
