Crispy, sweetened with honey, with a hint of saltiness from some soy sauce. This honey chicken recipe is one of my husbands favorite. Filling his Canadian "Chinese" food cravings without all the extras that comes with takeout food. . This recipe ONLY takes 25 minutes to make and has only 4 ingredients - can you say WINNING!!

Honey Chicken Recipe

Cook Time: 25 Minutes

Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:

- Chicken (2 lbs,I prefer thighs but any style)

- Honey (1/4 cup)

- Soy Sauce (1/4 cup)

- Corn Starch (3 Tbsp)

- Vegetable Oil (1/4 Cup)

Directions:

1. Cut chicken of choice into 1” cubes. Put into zip lock bag, add corn starch, and toss to evenly coat chicken.

2. In a large frying pan add vegetable oil on medium high heat. Once oil is hot (put a drop of water in pan, if sizzles, it’s ready). Add chicken making sure not to over crowd. Cook on each side for approximately 5 minutes each side.

3. Once fully cooked, remove chicken from pan, and drain excess oil.

4. Add chicken back into pan on medium heat. Then add soy sauce, and honey. Mix well and simmer for 10 minutes thickening the sauce.

Bon Appetite
