Two things I love with so much passion: Pizza and My Family. Exactly why on valentines day, what better way to say I love you like pizza in a heart shaped with heart shaped pepperoni. That's a whole lot of love smothered in cheese and I'm completely ok with it.
Ingredients:
- Pizza Dough (cut into 3 portions)
- Pizza sauce (medium can)
- Mozzarella cheese (1 cup)
- Pepperoni
- Flour (1/4 cup)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place your pizza stone in oven to preheat as well. Sprinkle your surface with flour. Place dough on flour and cut it into 3 portions. Using flour as you go so the dough doesn’t stick. Shape with your fingers the dough into heart shapes.
2. Cut pepperoni into heart shapes by cutting bottoms into diamond shape and the top in a small triangle (see video).
3. Place pizzas onto preheated pizza stone. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce, then cheese, then top with pepperoni. (optional add garlic and Italian seasoning for extra flavor). Baked at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Bon Appetite
