Brie Cheese Honey Pizza | Honey Pizza | Honey on Pizza

Honey Pizza is the new craze and I'm all for it. It's sweet but not too sweet and melts perfectly over your cheesy pizza in the most beautiful ooey gooey way. Brie Cheese Honey Pizza will be your family's next new favourite pizza dish. For this pizza, we did a simple garlic and herb base, topped it with brie cheese and cherries. Salty, fresh, and will be topped with the best ingredient - h o n e y for the sweet balance.

Honey Pie, Pizza Pie - You know that I love you!! is what you will be singing once your try this honey on pizza recipe. For this recipe, we used our Fremont Pizza Oven by Gyber Outdoors but you can a pizza stone in your oven or right on your BBQ if you do not have one.

I choose to use my Gyber Outdoors, Fremont Pizza Oven because love that real wood fire taste you get, the crispy bottom, and ooey gooey top. It's easy to use and highly recommend investing in one.

INGREDIENTS

PIZZA DOUGH (Pre-made OR homemade)

HONEY (I used Peace River Honey, Creamed Honey)

BRIE CHEESE (6-8 slices)

CHERRIES (1/4 cup sliced in half)

MUSHROOMS (optional)

BUTTER (1 Tbsp) ITALIAN SEASONING (1 tsp)

GARLIC (1 clove, minced)

FLOUR (2 Tbsp)

DIRECTIONS:

Place 3 scoops of pellets into your Fremont Pizza Oven tray. Light on fire and warm-up for 15 minutes. If you need more clarification on how to light your pizza oven CLICK HERE! OR preheat your BBQ or OVEN with your PIZZA STONE inside preheating with it.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HONEY PIZZA

While it is preheating, you can prepare your honey pizza. Using 1 Tbsp of flour on your surface and another for your hands/top of the pizza dough. I'm using a store-bought pizza dough that I left out on my counter to proof on the morning. I separated into two pies for this brie cheese honey pizza. To being start working your pizza dough out, using your fingers from the inside out. Don't be afraid to use flour, I've yet to find I've ever over floured a pie. Once worked out into the shape of your desire begin to top.

In a small dish place the butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic inside. Microwave for 25 seconds or until melted. Bast your pizza crust with this butter mixture evenly. Next place your brie on top, then your cherries.

BBQ - 450 degrees - 10 Minutes (Pizza Stone)

OVEN - 425 degrees - 12-14 Minutes (Pizza Stone)

PIZZA OVEN - 600-800 degrees - 2 minutes each side (rotated)

Once you've cooked your Brie cheese honey pizza, you can drizzle as much or as little honey on your pizza you desire. SKIES THE LIMIT!!
