Why smoked chicken legs? To start, they are delicious. They are the dark meat portion of your chicken. When grilling chicken legs, they are very forgiving. Meaning you can cook them to an internal temperature of 165 to up to 185 degrees without drying them out. They are usually less expensive than the drum or thigh separately.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
CHICKEN LEGS
MAYO
RUB: I used Everything Bagel Seasoning from Spice Rack Co.
CHARCOAL GRILL: I used my Louisiana Grills Kamado K24
CHARCOAL
HEAT DEFLECTOR
HOW I DID IT:
đ Preheat your @louisianagrills Kamado to 250 degrees with your full heat deflector on.
đ Separate the skin from the legs making room for you to stuff a heaping spoonful of cream cheese in between.
đ Next use a mayo binder and âEverything But The Bagelâ seasoning from @spicerack.co
đ Place your chicken legs on the grill until an internal temperature of 175 degrees. This creamy delicious everything but the bagel CHICKEN is so delicious. Enjoy
