Individualized Chicken Dip Bowls not only keep all the hands out of the dip bowl but is festive AND delicious. With everything going on in the world, people want to be as safe as possible, which means no double-dipping. With appetizer season in the mist, I wanted to create a fun recipe with an individualized handheld twist. These Pillsbury Biscuits dip bowls are filled with easy chicken appetizers that will have your guests coming back for more.
I love the idea of sharing food, but also not sharing everything that can come with it. When doing recipe development I wanted to ensure it was an easy chicken recipe with extra added safety to it. Everyone wants to feel good this holiday season.
CHEATSHEET
PREP TIME: 15 Minutes
GRILL/COOK TIME: 25 Minutes
TOTAL TIME: 40 Minutes
GRILL/OVEN TEMP: 400 Degrees
INGREDIENTS
Pillsbury Biscuits (1 container)
Chicken Breasts (1, cooked or leftover, finely chopped)
Cream Cheese (1 cup)
Marble Cheese (1/2 cup, shredded)
Sweet Peppers (1/2 cup, diced)
Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
Chili Sauce (1 Tbsp)
Horseradish (1 tsp)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
DIRECTIONS
Prepare your easy chicken appetizers by making the chicken dip. With a small bowl add all ingredients except the Pillsbury Biscuits in a bowl and set aside.
Next prepare your Pillsbury Biscuits, by flattening the circular biscuit with a rolling pin or your hand. Try to keep the circle shape. Place 2 Tbsp of the chicken dip in the middle of the circle. Next, pinch two ends to form the oval shape as pictured (or check out the video below).
Preheat your pellet grill OR oven to 400 degrees. Place your handheld chicken dip bowls on a baking sheet in the shape you desire. I made a circle wreath out of mine. Bake or grill for approximately 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is lightly browned.
